LARRY FORGIONE HAS JOINED THE WYNN LAS VEGAS



Culinary legend Larry Forgione has joined the Wynn Las Vegas family as executive chef of Tableau. Honored as “America’s Best Chef” by the James Beard Foundation and widely recognized as ‘the Godfather of American cooking,”

Larry has been a longtime supporter of local ingredients and farmed sustainability. Forgione’s relationships with small farmers, ranchers and producers forged a ‘farm-to-table” relationship never before seen in the United States. His signature New York restaurant, “An American Place,” helped pioneer the movement to focus on American ingredients and our national cuisine. Chef Forgione will debut his newest interpretation of An American Place here at Wynn in early 2009.

Until then, look for his such signature dishes as BBQ suckling pig sandwich with Carolina style vegetable slaw and cottage fried yams; she-crab soup with crab BLT; tree ripened peach pancakes with Rocky Mountain wildflower honey and lime butter and others to be introduced to the menus at Tableau.
