MASQUERADE VILLAGE AT RIO
Masquerade Village transports visitors through time and space to a place where everyday is Carnivale! Masquerade Village, located at the Rio Hotel-Casino, is modeled after a northern Italian village and features restaurants, shops and even a wine cellar.
One cornerstone of Masquerade Village is the Masquerade Show in the Sky. The celebration begins with a parade led by Rio Rita. The parade is complete with acrobats, mimes, and other festive personages.
Even better than watching the parade, however, is being a part of it. At Masquerade Village, for a nominal fee, visitors can take part in the sky show. Riders on the floats meet at Masquerade Villages’ main stage, are routed backstage for appropriate dress, and finally take their stands on the floats. Heavily beaded.
The show’s enthusiasm rubs off both on performers and observers, resulting a lot of good-natured fun! The Show in the Sky is considered to be one of Vegas’ best free attractions, so be sure to visit—and maybe participate.
