DISGUSTING!
Review by Shocked G. on Nov 21
The Cafe Lago buffet was DISGUSTING! It came to around $10 each after the $20 off coupon. So $27 + tip each. This made it the most expensive and also the most disgusting buffet that we have ever been to. The food all looked like it had a "skin" on it. It had obviously been sitting around most of the day. The few items that we did find to eat were just not much to our liking. We have pretty basic tastes (steaks, hamburgers, tacos, salad, ice cream etc.) and all of the food was supposed to be classy but it was just bland, wobbly and basically inedible. I'll take the Palace buffet or even a $1 "slots a fun" hot dog any day over this. Never again....

I had the best meal ever at Cafe Lago. There was a different kind of squash on the menu. I have tried to figure it out but haven't been able to. Please help :)

Save your money!
Review by Todd W. on May 6
We visit LV often and this year named it the year of the buffet as we were going to hit a minimum of four and maybe more. We went to Lago because it was at one of the finest hotels in LV and expected the breakfast buffet to follow suit. What a mistake! The ambiance was great as the restaurant appeared more upscale than most but the food and selection were HORRIBLE! The worst we've ever experienced in LV. The only buffet that had those small boxes of Rice Krispies sitting out (that speaks volumes). Selection was the worst we've ever seen with little more than pancakes and eggs. I would strongly advise to save your money.....

Kicking myself for trying this
Review by Tessa D. on Dec 20
This is by far the worst buffet my boyfriend and I have EVER been to. Went here about 1:30 pm on Saturday, 12/17/11. After 20 min of waiting for my tea, I asked our waitress again. 10 min later she came over with one. She also took a whole plate of watermelon away that I hadn't even touched, and didn't ask if I was done. I can deal with bad service, however, at a buffet. What I can not deal with is bad food. There was no selection. Very small buffet. The food they did have was crap. Tasted like frozen food re-heated. They weren't refilling anything in the buffet, so you'd have to ask for them to, and then they'd give you this dirty look like you were creating a sin asking for this. Didn't have any butter sauce for crab legs. No spreads for bagels or bread. Salad bar sucks. Desserts taste like plastic. I also can't believe they charge $30. I should've waited in line forever at the Bellagio buffet and paid less for way better food.
