|
|
| |
Ever wonder what the medieval times were like? Well, Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas is a fine example of those days. Castles and all, this resort will take you back to the simpler days.
Excalibur Las Vegas is a great resort for families. Children can explore while adults will also be entertained. Armored knights, stained glass, swords, and shields all make this a believable travel back in time. Tournament of Kings, is a dinner-show that displays jousting, swordplay, and fanfare. For a more adult spectacle, try The Thunder from Down Under, the Aussie male revue. Anthony Cools provides a hypnotic night while comic Louie Anderson will keep you laughing. Throughout the day, The Court Jester’s Stage features live variety acts including jugglers and magicians.
Dining at the Excalibur resort includes The Steakhouse at Camelot, Sir Galahad’s Prime Rib House, and Regale among others. Krispy Kreme has even opened a doughnut factory here. Daily visitors can enjoy watching the actual making of these beloved treats.
Although there is no nightlife here, patrons can certainly create their own party within the 100,000 square-foot casino that includes all the popular table games as well as slot favorite Megabucks.

Hey Guys, The Excalibur is a big interesting castle. It is in a old flair. But not bad. Yes, I am sorry but I dont know more about this hotel. The only thing which I can say is that Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay have a free public monorail ! ;) have fun

I will not use the Excalibur again. It was not kid-friendly, the sheets and towels were clean - that's about it, the non-smoking wing smelled of stale smoke, the all-day buffet was only open from 2-6pm - we arrived at 8pm after 9 hours on the road, carts were not available to help transfer our baggage from the vehicle to the room, the lady at the counter was surly and difficult to understand through her accent - couldn't or wouldn't answer any questions regarding services associated with the incentive coupons that came with the room, which we ended up throwing away. We were going to stay another night to at least explore a little after getting some sleep but the cost of the room doubled for the next night. Oh, and our toddler was delighted to find a piece of dessicated bread that some thoughtful housekeeper had left for a late night snack under the table.
The hotel looked neat on the outside - but my family was terribly disappointed and we left town to continue our trip as soon as possible, not wanting to spoil the trip anymore than it already had been.
