|
|
|
Just to the south of the Strip about five minutes from McCarran International Airport, the South Point Hotel, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas is a truly unique resort. South Point Resort offers its guests spacious rooms, a wide array of restaurants, and even Vegas' first world-class Equestrian Center.
Architecture at the South Point Hotel Las Vegas deviates from a Southwestern theme to a refreshingly Mediterranean-style ornamented in golds, reds and browns. South Point Hotel's guest rooms are luxuriously oversized, featuring 42-inch plasma TVs. Outside of the rooms nestled among verdant landscaping, guests can enjoy a pool, Jacuzzi, and a sand volleyball court.
In the gaming arena, with its 80,000 square-foot casino, South Point Las Vegas casino doesn't fail to deliver. The floor boasts more than 2,400 slot and video poker machines, as well as sixty tables of games such as craps, baccarat, roulette, and poker, and a 300-seat race and sports book. There is also a bingo room with 600 seats.
For dining at any time of day, South Point Hotel Las Vegas can't be beat. Among the selection are the Silverado Steakhouse, the Big Sur Oyster Bar, Don Vito's Italian and seafood restaurant, and the Garden Buffet among others. In addition there is 24-hour dining at the Coranado Cafe to sate late night cravings, and Kate's Korner Ice Cream Parlor where the whole family can indulge.

The pinnacle of the South Point hotel, especially for horse lovers, is the Equestrian Complex. The complex contains a 4,400 seat arena, climate-controlled horse stalls to keep our equine friends happy, and an exhibit hall equal in size to the casino floor.
The resort’s other amenities include a 64-lane bowling alley next to a bar, a 16-screen movie theater, and the health club Spa Costa Del Sur. Clearly, this unique resort offers a fantastic Vegas vacation for everyone.

Very comfortable, beautiful hotel
Review by Heather S. on Apr 25
Stayed 8 nights. Very comfortable, beautiful hotel. We were surprised that there was no free WiFi. I suggest the $9.99/month Boingo for internet. Also no magnifying mirror, so if you need one for makeup- bring your own! Never saw I jackpot paid in the casino during our stay. Other than that, a great and comfortable place to stay, close to the strip and on the RTC bus line. Buy a 3 day ticket for $7.50 and transfer to the Deuce at the terminal to ride to the strip. If you've got the time, it's well worth it. Otherwise, a taxi will cost you $25 + tip to take you to the strip. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vegas.

Excellent Stay
Review by Steven S. on Oct 1
This was my first visit to Las Vegas and South Point Hotel was by far a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I must say that for my first visit I didn't want to come home. Stayed four nights at this hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay
Review by Tim M. on Aug 23
Spent the week of July the 4th and have never had a better experience anywhere in Las Vegas. The food was out of this world. The people were all friendly and went out of their way to be sure we had the best time possible.

We had a great time and loved it up until going to the buffet. My only problem was the buffet. SUPER rude manager at buffet and will never go back.
