FIREFLY RESTAURANT GRAND OPENING

A NEW LOCATION FOR CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED FIREFLY RESTAURANT

Tapas Restaurant's New Location Offers Breathtaking View of Fremont Street Experience Las Vegas, Nev. – Firefly has been a standout in Las Vegas dining since opening in 2003. The restaurant features an eclectic menu of "tapas", small plates and appetizers that pair perfectly with the house specialty sangrias available by the glass or pitcher. Notable offerings include lamb chops, petite filet with roasted potatoes and spinach, addictive bacon wrapped dates in red wine sauce, empanadas, skewers, sliders, shrimp a la diabla and dozens of other meat, chicken and veggie dishes; none priced over $10.

Now Firefly has opened a second location in the “Dome” of the Plaza Hotel & Casino downtown, which offers a wide open view of the famous Fremont Street Experience. “It’s truly an iconic location downtown and we intend to draw on our current base of loyal, local Firefly fans as well as tourists from Fremont and the Strip," explains John Simmons, Chef/Owner of Firefly. "People will be surprised, blown away by the room. You really have to see it. It's like flying in a giant gypsy spaceship into the mouth of the lights and show of the Fremont Street Experience.” Like the original location on Paradise, which still packs them in nightly, Firefly* at the Plaza offers a full bar, single serving tapas dishes as well as full size entrées late into the evening

Firefly at the Plaza Add 1-1-1 Firefly downtown captures all of the fun and sexiness and vitality of the original on Paradise Road as well and shows off the same unique tapas menu and sangrias. A big bar, intimate lounge, and a fantastic domed dining room are available for diners to select their own vibe. Early and late happy hours are coming soon. Firefly at the Plaza is open 5p.m. to midnight seven days a week. For reservations or for more information, call (702) 386-2110.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino offers an array of innovative table games and slot machines; a newly opened restaurant called the Omelet House Diner – a Las Vegas icon for 30 years; an all new all-you-can-eat buffet called "Stuffed," featuring an all-new, high-end dinner menu boasting various specialty nights seven nights a week; the largest race and sports book downtown; the hottest show in town – the Rat Pack is Back; free live entertainment right on the casino floor in the Aqua Lounge and a host of other amenities including a beauty salon, a roof top swimming pool and tennis courts.
