RAFTING TOURS FROM LAS VEGAS
A Rafting tour is a wonderful option to spend your valuable time, and to turn a happy trip into an adventurous trip. The term rafting means a challenging, entertaining, outdoor activity with a pump-up raft that you travel in through a river. It is one of the most extreme sports that are done today. Rafting consists of two types, white water rafting and smooth water rafting. In Las Vegas you can find both. The difference between the two types of rafting is the following; white water rafting is adventurous & extreme, while smooth water rafting is more pleasant and calm.
White water rafting: Here you can feel the experience of thrill when you raft down the white waters of the Colorado River and through the extortionate cliffs of the Grand Canyon. To start this adventure you need to travel to the Colorado River. The extreme adventure will start you and your family/friends on a rafting journey that will take you to class ranges from 3 through class 6 rapids, below the Grand Canyon scale(1-10), until the completion of the 40mile(60 kilo meters) rafting journey through the Grand Canyon. You are allowed brief stops to delve into the Grand Canyon and to see parts of the canyon only seen by people who draft down the river! You can also watch the Travertine Water Fall as you have lunch and take in the natural good looks of the canyon. There are no limits of enjoyment in this extreme adventure; you can't even guess all the thrills you will have! After the completion of the drafting trip, a helicopter will take you on a 4,000 mounting to the circumference of the Grand Canyon. After this excursion you will look back and realize just how much of an unforgettable journey it was. Even though this is a water adventure tour, you can take your camera at your own risk.
Smooth water rafting: Here you can relax and enjoy the scenery of the Black Canyon and observe the structure of the Hoover Dam. The journey begins from the base of the impressive Hoover Dam where you can view the powerful dam. This is a rare opportunity to all people, but you are one of the luckiest to see it. The raft which you will be traveling on will stop at the clear water inferior of the Hoover Dam and you are provided a lunch to enjoy on the trip. With the nature and food, the Guide will explain all the history of the geological changes of this place. Don't forget to take your camera, because this is a smooth and relaxing rift where you can find lots of wonders; such as caves, wildlife, Hoover Dam, and a hot bubbly water fall. Your trip ends at Willow Beach, and after this rift you will realize the meaning of peace and relaxation. Don't worry too much about safety, because the entire raft is outfitted with safety paraphernalia, as endorsed by the coast guard.
