Light Nightclub
There’s no arguing that there are plenty of lights in Las Vegas, but there is one that outshines the rest – and I’m not talking about the Luxor’s vertical spotlight. This light is the product of an impressive collaboration of two Sin City powerhouses, and it is certainly the pinnacle of Las Vegas’ entertainment. Created through a meeting of minds between ever-creative Clique Management Group and the remarkably once a partner acrobatic Cirque du Soleil theater company, Las Vegas’ most unique nightclub, Light, is a spotlight amongst household lamps.
The club was the former Rum Jungle and has enough entertainment value to be perfect for all walks of life, but those that spring for VIP access is bound to get a better experience out of the night than simple walk-in patrons. First, VIP access gets you to the front of the line, so you can bypass everyone that stands in your way. Second, you’ll find yourself escorted to one of the club’s premium VIP tables, where you’ll get first rate views of the club’s goings-on and the dance floor itself. As you’re taking in the many sights that the venue has to offer, you’ll find you and your table on the receiving end of a premium bottle of liquor. VIP at Light is the all-around enjoyable experience that everyone should try at least once in their lives.
Great entertainment. Great company. Great atmosphere. Three things you can expect to find, it may be on the far end of the Strip, but it’s well worth traveling from any other resort – even from any in Henderson.

Where is Light located?
The venue resides in the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel & Casino on the south end of the strip and is one of the first of many eye-popping sights visitors will see when stepping foot onto Las Vegas Boulevard. From the outside, you won't be able to miss the gold glass windows. The address is 3950 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89119
Pro Tip #1: The venue is in the back of the hotel, so make sure you DO NOT GET DROPPED OFF AT THE MANDALAY BAY VALET. The best place to get dropped off is the Delano Valet in the parking garage behind the Mandalay Bay, they entrance to the club is right there!

General Admission tickets vary from event to event, with bigger headliners like Saweete or T-Pain commanding higher price points (anywhere from $20-$50 for female tickets and $30-$100 for male tickets). Males $40 - $100+ |
Females $20 - $50+ |
NON-EVENT PRICING: |

See Our Cheap Bottle PackagesLight Guestlist vs. Presale Tickets: What's better?
Getting on the Guestlist is a FREE SERVICE to sign up for, but here's the catch: You have to get there early. In the case of a marquee headliner where online prices are sky-high, and guests are getting in for free on the Light nightclub guestlist, you can be sure that the lines to get in on the list will be out the door. In this case, it is always advisable to arrive early before doors open to secure your spot at the head of the line.
Here's what you can expect on the guest list:
Wednesday: |
Males – Free Entry before 1 am check-in |
Females – Free Entry before 1 am check-in |
Friday/Saturday: |
Males – Free or Discounted Admission (depends on headliner – early arrival recommended) |
Females – Free Entry (early arrival recommended) |
*Early arrival is required for Saturday events, especially with big headliners. Guestlist details are subject to capacity – if the club hits near capacity with the lines outside still full of people, the club may decide to start charging people early.
Get on The Light Nightclub GuestlistSuppose you're planning on attending a big event and can't get there early. In that case, you might want to investigate purchasing General Admission tickets in advance to avoid paying the inflated price at the door and to guarantee your entry. Pre-purchased tickets automatically guarantee access to the venue; the Guestlist does not!
Get Light Nightclub TicketsPro Tip: Club guestlists are geared more toward female patrons. All-female groups typically have a little more leeway in terms of arrival time on big nights, while groups with males in their party might not have the same time luxury. Contact your Exploring Las Vegas host to find out what the best course of action is for your group.
Exploring Las Vegas Insider Tip: Did you know that some nightclubs offer an open bar for ladies? It's true! Check out our complete guide to Las Vegas Open Bar Deals.
What Does Light Bottle Service Cost?
The venue has several areas within the club that offer different pricing tiers for bottle service:
Main Room Lower Dance Floor - $$$$ |
Main Room 1st Tier - $$$ |
Main Room 2nd Tier - $$ |
Mezzanine Level - $ |
High 4-Tops - $ |
Each area has several tables that have varying minimum spends. On a non-peak night, a table in the 1st tier might start at $1000 minimum spend but could just as quickly go for $2000 on a busier night.
Pro Tip: Not all locations are created equal. Be sure to view the guide below to see which table is right for you and your party, or contact one of our VIP Hosts for additional recommendations.
Table Service Locations
Light's stadium-style seating provides each tier an exceptional view of the DJ booth and its impressive LED video board. Each level is significantly elevated above and divided by railings from the subsequent lower sections. This provides plenty of space between each table and prevents tables from becoming overcrowded and flowing into other sections. Most tables are surprisingly comfortable, and there really is not a bad view from any of the tables downstairs
Dance Floor Tables (15-20 people)
The best seats in the house, plenty of room for a large group and the center of attention. The Dance floor U-booths can seat 12-15 people along the ledge.
1st Tier Tables (10-15 people)
A great location if dance floor is not in your budget, these tables have any exceptional view and are big and roomy.
2nd Tier Tables (10-12 people)
One level up from the 1st tier tables and just below the main bar level, this area is still considered VIP, you will need to be with a table or be with someone that has a table to enter the area.
Mezzanine Table (10 people)
The mezzanine tables are way up on the 2nd level. They are big and roomy and offer a pretty good nose-bleed view from way above. Back in the day, "the mezz" tables were used more often when Light was busier, but these days there just isn't enough business to seat the upstairs on most nights. The Mezzanine is perfect for a corporate event in the 50-100 people range.
Light Bottle Packages and Deals
Management set us up with some great bottle packages with the exception being holidays and nights when prominent artists perform. Usually, a couple of bottles and entry for ten people in the $1k range is the best deal you will see at a prime club on a prime night

What is Bottle Service, and is it really worth it?
Bottle Service is the ultimate clubbing experience. It's where you and your party sit at a reserved table and enjoy VIP service at some of Vegas' hottest nightclubs. Simply put, it's an arrangement that eliminates you having to stand in long lines in front of a crowded bar waiting to order drinks; instead, the club provides a private table or booth and personalized service. Once you have purchased bottles of your favorite alcohol, they are served tableside by your personal cocktail server with all the appropriate mixers.
What is a "minimum" spend? Are Bottles Separate?
Vegas nightclubs often operate on a minimum spend requirement (or "min," for short) system for their table reservations. The customer must either reach or exceed the amount set for their minimum spend. While the table is not charged separately, the better the location, the higher the minimum spend requirement. To reach this minimum requirement, the customer can order anything from the beverage menu (bottled alcohol, cases of beer, bottled water, Red Bulls, etc., all count toward your minimum requirement).
Group size could also be a factor in raising your minimum spend. The larger your group, the more accommodations the venue has to make to provide the same VIP experience to its customers. For example, a party of 15-20 people will require a larger space than the typical customer and require more staff service; thus, their minimum would be much higher than a customer coming in with five people
Is bottle service worth it?
Absolutely and without a doubt! It is the ultimate clubbing experience. While venturing onto the dance floor and exploring the venue are memorable experiences on their own, nothing is quite like being able to return to your own area, away from the crowd, and enjoy the artists' stunning performances. If your budget allows for it, I highly suggest booking bottle service. If you are a group of guys trying to pull girls or vice versa, tables are the 🔑 to help that process.
How many bottles do you get with bottle service?
Truthfully, as many as you can fit into your minimum. Bottle prices start at $495 and vary in price depending on whether you want a specific type of alcohol or a larger bottle. For example, suppose you have a $1,200 minimum and don't want to go over the minimum. In that case, you could theoretically get two bottles (assuming you order the $495 ones) and fill the remaining minimum with small orders of beer/bottled water/Red Bulls/etc. Let your host know in advance, and we will coordinate with your server depending on your preference!
What is the tip for bottle service?
What you actually want to know is, "How much does bottle service really cost after fees?" Assuming you have a $1000 minimum booked (and don't go over that total), here's how the final bill would break down:
$1000 (Min Spend) |
$83.75 (Nevada sales tax is 8.375%) |
$70 (7 % venue tax) |
$200 (20% tip to the server) |
$0 (Podium Handshake for Specific Table) |
Total: $1353.75 |

How do I make a reservation, and can I choose my section?
We make reservations simple. Please fill out a form, and one of our VIP Hosts will be in touch shortly to go over your options. The Club's management determines where to seat each confirmed table reservation. We call this " plotting the room ". Once again, the higher your minimum, the better the location. We can request and promise specific table locations based on customer requests. Here's a couple of things that can help us deliver on our promises:
- Arrive on time! We can secure your preferred table, but we cannot ask the venue to hold it the entire night, waiting for you to show up.
- Agree to the recommended minimum for your preferred location. If you want a dance floor table, we can make that happen, provided you agree to the required minimum spend it takes to book it.
How do I get my guests in if they arrive late?
The process is simple. Ideally, it's best if the entire group arrives on time and together, but we understand that stuff happens. Tell your guest(s) to walk up to the ropes, mention the table number and the reservation name, and they will get right in with two exceptions: if there is a capacity issue. The club cannot physically allow anyone else in via the Fire Marshal's rules and regulations or if you are way over your limit on the number of people at your table.
Also, if uninvited guests show up at your table, the easiest way to handle the situation is to get club security to have them removed. I strongly suggest that you DO NOT, under any circumstances, try to remove them yourself because if an altercation occurs, potentially everyone at the table will get kicked out. With over 20+ years of experience in this business, please trust me; this is the best and the only way to handle things.
How do I order a bottle presentation?
You must have a significant reservation booked (usually around $1000 or more) and purchase a bottle of champagne to qualify for the presentation. Let your VIP Host know, and one of us will be happy to communicate this request to your server.
What is a Vegas Promoter Girl Guy Host?
Let's say you are a group of guys who want to buy bottle service. A girl guy's (at most venues, they are called VIP Liaisons) job is to approach your table and ask if you would like him to round up some girls to help fill out your table…for a tip (we call that "handshakes" in the industry). He then does the legwork of recruiting girls around the venue to introduce them to your table. The girls are happy they get to join a table, your group is happy that there are girls at your table, and the girl guy walks away happy with a handshake. Everybody wins!
But before you employ any venue's girl guy, be sure to ask your Exploring Las Vegas VIP Host (like me) first. We will have plenty of female guests in town on any given weekend and will most likely know a few at this venue that we can invite to your table. If your group and the girls don't mesh for whatever reason, we can always ask the girl guy to try their hand at it.
Find out more about girl guys. We also offer atmosphere models for a group of guys who just want some pretty Vegas party girls to hang out with at the table and keep them entertained. A good rule of thumb is a $100 an hour per girl for a 4-hour minimum.
The Cost of Drinks
Like other clubs in Sin City, individual drinks can get pricey. Mixed drinks like Vodka Cranberry, Vodka Soda, and Rum and Coke can range between $15-$20, while premium beverages like Red Bull Vodka or specialty liquors can bring the price upwards of $20-$25+ depending on how much of a tip you want to leave your cocktail server. Beers are $10-$15 each, and shots vary on the brand but are typically $10-$20 each. Therefore bottle service is the best way to go!
Bachelor Parties in Vegas
There's nothing quite like showing out at Vegas' ultra-popular clubs with your boys for a final weekend of freedom. Bottle service is the way to go for Bachelor Parties planning a trip to the Vegas party scene; you're going to want a space to invite girls back to hang out! Bundle your weekend plans with dinner and open bar deals, limo services, or a visit to Vegas' famous strip clubs. Always consider booking some atmosphere models to help get the table started as we know many of the “boys” may have been out of the game for a while.

What is the Light Dress Code?
The dress code is typical of most Vegas nightclubs – upscale, dress-to-impress. You don't necessarily have to wear a collared shirt or suit and tie but make sure you are not wearing anything too casual. Men cannot wear shorts, and athletic sneakers are typically denied at the door (Jordan's/Nikes, Timberland boots, etc.). For more info about dress codes in Vegas, be sure to check out our comprehensive Dress Code Guide.
Vegas Dress Code GuideWhat About Daylight and Other Clique Venues?
Clique Hospitality has a sister pool party at the Mandalay bay call Daylight and they operate the Barber Shop in the Cosmopolitan, Gatsby’s in Resorts World and several other restaurants and lounges around sit city.
Clique Management Security
Before entry, all guests are required to empty out their pockets (for ladies, they will look in your purse), submit to a metal detector test, and make sure everyone entering is not bringing in anything dangerous. It's equivalent to going through the TSA line at the airport. This applies to all guests, whether you are going in with a table or General Admission.
Pro Tip: If you purchased a table and some unwanted people wander in by accident, it is always best to have the security staff ask them to leave instead of doing it yourself to avoid potential altercations. In the event of a confrontation between guests, both parties may likely be asked to leave. Security has the final say on such matters.
Las Vegas Security GuideWhat can't I bring into the venue?
Here are some things that you will be either asked to throw away or go back to your room to deposit before coming back:
- Vapes – while weed dispensaries are extremely popular and vaping is in vogue, most venues will not allow vapes inside their premises and will ask you to leave it in your room or at the very least throw away the cartridge inside, even if it isn't a CBD cartridge.
- Camera equipment – the only recording equipment you are allowed to bring is the one on your phone. Digital cameras, selfie sticks, et al. are not allowed into the venue.
- Outside Food/Beverages
- Prescription medication (or anything resembling pills) – if you need a specific type of prescription medication while you are inside the venue, you will have to bring the prescription and explain what the medicine is for; otherwise, expect to get pulled to the side.
- Packs of gum – this only applies to day clubs, which tend to be a lot stricter about checking everything that goes into the venue, but guests have been known to try and sneak drugs inside packs of gum to get them into the venue, so expect to have your gum taken away at the door.
- Oversized bags – anything larger than a lady’s clutch will be denied into the venue. This applies to most backpacks, gym bags, totes, etc. While most hotels can hold onto your luggage at the bell desk
What Mandalay Restaurants are close?
The venue is in the mall area behind the Mandalay Bay which is also restaurant row for the hotel. Some of our favorites dining options just a short walk away are Lupo by Wolfgang Puck, Strip Steak, Kumi for Modern Japanese, and the Foundation Room.
Let's look ahead. What's happening on New Year's Eve 2025?
One thing is for sure Vegas is over-priced on New Year’s Eve, this is wear this venue comes to the rescue. Sure they table service prices will be more than a regular night, but they will be way less than any big club on the strip.
Exploring Las Vegas Final Word
Light Nightclub is still a major player in the Vegas party scene. The venue is the only mega-club in sin city that is a value or deal club. I love the set up here, there is not a bad table in the club on the main floor. Other mega-clubs such at Zouk and Omnia are new and book serious talent, but bottles start at $750 and up, with tip and tax you are looking at over a thousand, and you can’t get a table for 1 bottle. Here at Light Vegas, we have deals in the grand range for a great table and a couple of bottles. We look forward to working with you and getting you a great bottle package.
