On The Record is more than just another Las Vegas Nightclub. This Vegas speakeasy is one of the latest and most unique entries into the Sin City nightclub scene. On The Record (OTR) is located inside the Park MGM Hotel, formerly known as the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino.
This 11,000-square-foot venue includes different rooms with unique vibes, all of which are themed around music, hence the name On The Record Las Vegas. The club features both indoor and outdoor spaces where guests can socialize, explore, and relax. With ample space and innovative concepts, this nightclub is like nothing the Strip has seen in quite some time. The distinct theme reflects the unique vision of twin brothers Mark and Jonnie Houston from Houston Hospitality and their memories of past musical eras. OTR's entrance embraces the look of an old-school record store with modern upgrades and amenities. The venue oozes musical nostalgia from the album covers in the Vinyl Parlor to the upscale furnishings.
Once inside, the attention to detail about the history of music is evident by the intricate and vast tape deck wall. This tape deck hallway is past the main room and is lined entirely with hundreds of different tape cassettes from various artists throughout musical history. Within this wall is a secret doorway that leads to the Vinyl Parlor. This hidden speakeasy is one of the most exciting features at OTR. With a total capacity of only 25 people, this private and intriguing room is where most guests want to be, but only a few get to experience. Here, guests will discover an exclusive bar with the best mixologists in the city, and on certain nights, master mixologists from world-famous bars around the country are flown in to showcase their talent and mixing flair. DJ’s typically spin open-format music inside and outside from an second DJ on the patio. Open-format is top 40, hip hop club tunes, Latin nights music, and EDM club anthems.
Another surprise in the Vinyl Room is that its walls are covered with hundreds of full-sized albums from various artists of all genres throughout history. What makes these albums so unique is that they are available for patrons to take down and give to the bartenders as inspiration for a special. When you hand the album of your choice to the mixologist, they will blow you away with a unique handcrafted cocktail that will exceed all expectations. Even though this Las Vegas nightlife venue has only been open since December 2019, it has achieved great success. On The Record events have been praised for their unique concept, stylish design, and world-class cocktail program.

There is not a bad table at OTR, and they are ideal for large groups with plenty of room to move around them. All the tables on the main floor have security to keep unwanted guests from wandering into your space.
Dance Floor Tables (8 – 10 Guests)
The owner's table and the dance floor tables facing the main bar in the main room are our favorites. The owner's table, which is the center table, is actually the back of a vintage Rolls-Royce. The section is a small 2-3-seater in the center of the club and undoubtedly attracts a lot of attention. The other four dance floor tables are elevated and quite spacious. The dance floor tables on the ends are U-shaped and have plenty of space for a group of up to 15 people. The rest of the tables can accommodate 8-10.

There are 12 fantastic upper dance floor tables. If combined, there will be six tables ideal for larger groups. They're elevated and offer a great view of the main room dance floor. If they divide these tables into smaller sections, they are perfect for 6-8 people, but if you have a group of 10 to 15, you will likely need two of these sections. The 4 tables in the center have an open fire pit. If you want to warm up with these prime tables, let us know.

The record parlor tables aren't always available for bottle service reservations, but when they are, there are four inside – two "L" booths in the corners and a couple of two-seaters next to the bar. If you're interested, ask us if they will have this room open for bookings when you're in town.

On busier nights, the 8 living room tables are available. The larger "U" booths on the left near the DJ hold 10 to 15 people comfortably. The 4 island tables in the middle are good for 8-10, and the two L-shaped couches near the fireplace fit about 12. When that room is open, expect more traffic near the center and U-shaped tables. The two tables by the fireplace will have less traffic.

On the outdoor patio, there are two tables plus the famous two-story double-decker vintage bus, which serves as a bar and a DJ booth. The space isn't big, so when the club is busy, all the tables will be in the action. Each table can accommodate 8 to 10 people comfortably, and if you want to mix and mingle away from the loud music, these are ideal.

The karaoke rooms are some of the coolest rooms in Vegas. You can bring up to 12 people for a karaoke party. Since there are only three karaoke rooms, these must be booked in advance. They are a bit separated from the action, so don't expect much traffic, but they are great if you want a private room. They come complete with a full karaoke setup, video screens, first-class amenities, and an extensive playlist.
