MGM Grand's Wet Republic Ultra Pool has been a staple of Vegas pool parties since it debuted in April 2008 and has remained possibly the top pool party in the city, thanks in no small part to an influx of all-star DJ talent like Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and Kaskade among many other big names on the Hakkasan Group artist roster.

Featuring gigantic LED screens flashing over an outsized pool, beautiful people, and what might be the best chicken fingers in the industry, Wet Republic is a surefire addition to your "must-see" list in Vegas.

Wet Republic Las Vegas 2023

Where is Wet Republic located, exactly?

Wet Republic is located at the back of the MGM Grand's pool area. It's nestled right between the convention center and TopGolf, which is behind the hotel. If you're getting dropped off at the hotel's valet, be prepared for a bit of a walk – it's about 15-minutes from the valet to the venue through the casino.

PRO TIP: If you're taking an Uber, another rideshare, or getting dropped off, it's easier to get to the venue via TopGolf's parking lot and crossing into the MGM's pool area from there. A much, much shorter walk.

What's the vibe?

Wet Republic Ultra Pool is one of the most popular pool parties in Las Vegas— actually, in the world.

As one of the top parties the city can offer, expect some of Hakkasan Group's biggest name artists performing weekly before they take the decks at night at OMNIA Nightclub, Jewel, and Hakkasan Nightclub.

WARNING: Splashing and fun are included. Proceed at your own peril.

Dress Code & Proper Attire

Dress Code

Swim attire only, please! This is of the utmost importance. Many a customer has been sent away to purchase overpriced swimsuits at the MGM's swim shop. No pants, no baggy clothing, no athletic wear – it's a pool party, dress like it!

For a more in-depth look at dress codes in Vegas, visit our dress code guide.

What days is Wet Republic open?

Wet Republic is open Thursdays through Monday during the summer months of Las Vegas – March through October. In March and October, the venue is only open Fridays through Sundays.

What's the Cost of Entry for Wet Republic?

General admission cost varies from event to event – the bigger the event, the higher the cost of entry.

Here's what you can expect to pay to get into the venue without being on a guest list, having pre-sale tickets, or having a table reservation:

Males $50 - $100+
Females $30 - $50+

Males $20+
Females $10+

How much are drinks at Wet Republic?

Drinks at the bar have a wide range of pricing, anywhere from a $15 vodka soda to an $80 giant plastic tumbler of an alcoholic slushie. Bottles of water cost $10!

Due to the insane amount of demand, dayclubs in Las Vegas tend to have higher-than-industry-standard pricing, especially true for the mega-popular clubs like Wet Republic and Encore Beach Club. Expect to pay a pretty penny at the bar to imbibe and rehydrate when at one of the bigger pool parties.

What can't I bring into the dayclub?

Here are some things that you will be either asked to throw away or go back to your room to deposit before coming back:

  • Vapes – while weed dispensaries are extremely popular and vaping is in vogue, most venues will not allow vapes inside their premises and will ask you to leave it in your room or at the very least throw away the cartridge inside, even if it isn't a CBD cartridge.
  • Camera equipment – the only recording equipment you are allowed to bring is the one on your phone. Digital cameras, selfie sticks, et al. are not allowed into the venue.
  • Outside Food/Beverages
  • Prescription medication (or anything resembling pills) – if you need a specific type of prescription medication while you are inside the venue, you will have to bring the prescription and explain what the medicine is for; otherwise, expect to get pulled to the side.
  • Packs of gum – this only applies to day clubs, which tend to be a lot stricter about checking everything that goes into the venue, but guests have been known to try and sneak drugs inside packs of gum to get them into the venue, so expect to have your gum taken away at the door.
  • Oversized bags – anything larger than a ladies' clutch or a small knapsack will be denied into the venue. This applies to most backpacks, gym bags, totes, etc.

How Do I Get into Wet Republic?

Wet Republic Guestlist

girls at wet

What is the Guestlist? Nightclubs and pool parties in Las Vegas use a certain type of promotion to drive people to their doors early. This promotion allows people to sign up on a guest list that gives them certain perks – free or discounted entry, ladies free drinks, etc. – by arriving and checking in at the club by a certain time.

Does Wet Republic have a guest list?

Wet Republic typically has a guest list available for most of their events (with a couple of big event exceptions where they do enforce patrons to buy tickets or reserve bottle service – extremely rare events).

Here's what you can expect on the guest list:

Males Females
Free Entry before 2 pm check-in Free Entry before 2 pm check-in

Males Females
Free or Discounted Admission (depends on headliner – early arrival recommended) Free Entry (early arrival recommended)

Males Females
Free Entry (with some bigger event weekends discounted) Free Entry before 2 pm check-in

line at wet

*Early arrival is required for Saturday events, especially with big headliners. Guestlist details are subject to capacity – if the club hits near capacity with the lines outside still full of people, the club may decide to start charging people early.

Please follow the recommended times on your guest list confirmation for best results.

These are pretty straightforward: you buy tickets for an event ahead of time and redeem them at the door for entry. Simple enough.

While most attendees will opt for the perks of the guest list or reserve a table, some folks might prefer to buy tickets and guarantee their entry ahead of time, especially for big events where being on the guest list might require arriving before doors even open.

bottle service

What is Bottle Service?

Bottle service, at least in Las Vegas, refers to reserving a table inside a nightclub or day club.

By definition, it generally refers to someone buying their drinks by the bottle and not by individual drinks at the bar. In other clubs in other cities, there are instances when someone can buy a bottle and not get a table, but those go hand in hand in Las Vegas. You cannot buy a bottle inside a venue without having your own booth.

How do I read pricing for Bottle Service?

All nightlife and daylife venues in Las Vegas operate on a minimum spend system. The clubs assign prices to the different table locations inside their venue, and to reserve one, customers must commit to spend that amount before their table gets seated.

In other words, the price listed on a pricing sheet under each table location is the minimum amount you need to spend to secure that location.

*Typical price sheets do not include tax, tip, and other potential venue charges.

How can I get one of those cool bottle presentations?

Bottle presentations have become an art form over the years, and there are some truly absurd and over-the-top presentations.

To request one, you typically need to have a decent-sized minimum spend ($2000+) table and purchase one of the premium champagne bottle selections.

Tanks, tigers, boxing-themed presentations, champagne spraying… the list is seemingly endless for the creativity of the presentations these venues offer.

Let us know, and we can communicate it to the server to arrange a presentation, or if a host is not present, your server can give you options on how to get a presentation done.

BUNGALOWS (maximum 20 people)

One of the best table locations at any dayclub in Las Vegas, Wet Republic's bungalows feature:

  • access to private restrooms for VIP guests
  • a small personal pool area shared with the bungalow next door
  • a TV

  • remote-controlled misting systems for those extra-hot Vegas days
  • a safe for valuables
  • a private lounge area
  • a daybed and lounge chairs in front of the cabana

Bungalow guests are blocked off from the crowd, with a security host stationed at the entrance at all times to prevent people from wandering in.

Guys are issued VIP wristbands to get into this area, though ladies can be invited into this area at the discretion of the bungalow guests.

A truly exceptional experience, this is an area reserved for the biggest spenders in Vegas.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) - $4,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

CABANAS / DELUXE CABANAS (maximum 15 people)

deluxe cabana
deluxe cabana pool

The cabanas at Wet Republic are probably the most popular option for groups booking bottle service. It holds a relatively large amount of people and is typically priced pretty well for the number of people you can bring in with it.

Most of the Grand Cabanas also have a shared pool in front of the cabanas, much like the bungalows, allowing guests to hold their own private party in the comfort of the cabana without venturing out in the main area of the venue.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) - $3,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

STAGE TABLES (maximum 10 people)

There are two tables on either side of the DJ booth elevated on the same platform facing the dance floor and pools. If you're looking to be the center of attention of the entire venue and sneak into the action shots of the headliner, this is the spot for you.

Due to their extremely limited availability, these locations must be specifically requested ahead of time.

WARNING: Wear earplugs. Seriously. Your server can provide them for your table.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) - $1,500 - $2,500+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

POOL DECK TABLES (maximum 10 people)

As the name implies, these large couches ring the sides of both main pools, allowing easy access for guests to jump in the water and mingle with the crowd and climb back out for a cocktail.

Each Deck Table has its own giant umbrella for shade, though it can still get hot being exposed in the middle of the venue. On windy days, they won't set up the umbrellas as a precaution against them tipping over.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) - $1,500 - $2,500+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

DANCE FLOOR TABLES (maximum 10 people)

dance floor table

Basically, these are the same as Deck Tables, but closer to the action – situated right in front of the DJ booth, squarely in the middle of the dance floor. These areas tend to get quite loud but perfect for groups looking to be right in the middle of the action.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) - $1,500 - $2,500+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

LOUNGE TABLES (maximum 10 people)

These are also the same as Deck Tables, but in a different location – right behind the DJ booth and stage tables, just in front of Wet Republic's extremely busy bar area.

Pros: Located in a shaded structure away from the sun, great proximity to the bar area enhances mingling capabilities and easy to get to rental locker areas.

Cons: It gets extremely loud and busy with all the foot traffic, located behind the action of the DJ booth.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) - $1,500+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

DAYBEDS (maximum 6 people)

daybed daybed

Finally, we have your basic daybeds. A popular selection for ladies, couples, and smaller groups, these are typically priced to sell. Like the Deck Tables, the daybeds each have an umbrella set up to protect against the sun's rays.

Though you can bring in 6 people maximum with each daybed reservation, this does not mean that all 6 people can lay on the bed at the same time, more like 3-4 at the same time.

If you're just looking for a small table area to leave your stuff, this is the spot for you.

Projected Pricing*:

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most Fridays and Sundays) – ($500+ for all-girl groups) $750 - $1000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

How Do I Calculate My Bill?

Let's break it down. Assuming you have a $500 minimum booked (and don't go over that total), here's how the bill would end up breaking down:

$1500 (subtotal)
$125.63 (Nevada sales tax is 8.375%)
$159.45 (Venue fee is 10.630%)
$300 (20% tip to the server)
Total: $2085.08

Just like you would with any investment (e.g., buying a car), it's always best to assume that there may be more to pay than the sticker price.

*That total doesn't include any potential "handshake deal" you might want us to make with the club's host podium to secure express entry or preferred location (on extremely busy nights). A handshake is a tip in industry terms; basically, there are times when we can cut a deal and tip the host podium to give us preferential treatment, whether it's to hold a specific table or give you a table at a lower minimum than advertised. These deals are cut on a case-by-case basis. Contact us on the button below, and we can advise you accordingly!

We've included a handy tool below for you, or don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or recommendations.

NOTE: Some events may charge an extra Live Entertainment Tax (LET) depending on the headlining performer, though that typically is not the case for this venue.

Wet Republic Menu

Hot100 Fridays

Somewhere in the middle of April onwards, Wet Republic launches its famous "Hot100 Bikini Contest" every Friday, where some of the hottest women in the world compete for huge cash prizes.

The contestants then go around the venue soliciting the guests for their vote in the contest – a sight to behold indeed: some of the hottest girls you'll ever see just running around the pool club talking to everybody.

Combined with very reasonable bottle service pricing, this makes Fridays a heck of a deal at Wet Republic.

Babes in Blue

Wet Republic is well-known for its stringent audition process for its service staff, with some waitresses being world-class models. Expect to see some real beauties waiting on your table when you make your next visit!

Yes, they serve food.

Unlike the nightclubs, dayclubs all serve food in some form or fashion, and yes – whatever you order can go toward the minimum spend requirement!

Some dayclubs, however, will require you to have a table for food – otherwise, you're just asking for plates to be littered everywhere and food bits all around the venue!

Can I bring sunscreen?

Yes, sunscreen is allowed into the venue, and yes, you can take it in a small knapsack (that will be checked before entry).
