Absinthe combines acrobatics and cabaret in an innovative and provocative variety show. As soon as you enter the showroom in Caesar’s Palace, you’re transported to a new world of wonder and excitement. The spectacular blend of wild and outlandish acts on the circular stage keep the audience zoned in, and the close proximity to the audience provides an intimate experience like no other. This layout is specifically designed to allow audience members to feel like they’re really in on the circus action by allowing spectators to get up and personal with the performers.

Considered a racy, adult-only show, Absinthe is downright hilarious with hints of allure and glamour. Throughout the show, performers aim to inspire and amaze the audience with acts and performances that dare to evoke thrills down the audience’s spines. From the sexy burlesque number to the incredible depth-defying stunts performed by the aerialists, there’s certainly something for everyone to enjoy. As the entertainment can push slightly behind comfort levels, be sure to come with an open mind, and just remember to have fun.

After opening in Las Vegas on April 1, 2011, Absinthe Show has become the must-see event for visitors from around the globe. The show is hosted by an actor referred to as The Gazillionaire (a former Cirque du Soleil clown), and his assistant Penny Pibbets (who is portrayed by actress Anais Thomassian). The show is produced by Ross Mollison and owned by Spiegelworld, and has recently celebrated its 1,500 show in 2014. Each performance is approximately 90 minutes long, and it all takes place on a stage that is a mere 9 feet in diameter. This allows audience members to sit in a circle around the stage to get the best view possible. Guests are allowed to drink alcohol during the show, and at the end of the show, the exit opens up to the beer garden at Caesar’s Palace.

Absinthe Show has been named “Best New Show” by Vegas Seven Magazine. Paul Carr of The Huffington Post said, “If I could only see one show in my entire life, I’d want it to be that”.
