Earl Turner Show Overview

Music has always run in Earl Turner's family. The son of a piano playing mother and gospel-singing father, Earl's career began when he was 13 years old in Fayette, Missouri. It was here that Earl played his first function, as a bass guitarist at an American Legion Hall. Until he was 19, Earl preferred spending time in the background, playing piano and guitar in a band setting as opposed to being a headliner.

Earl Turner began touring with the 13-member band, the Earl White Review, from Chicago. He had seen the band as a teenager and volunteered to come along for their tour at no cost. On the tour, Earl joined the band and travelled the U.S. for seven years. His goal was to become famous though at this point he was lucky to make $75 a week.

After leaving the Earl White Review, Earl joined Vann Company Band. It was during his stint in this band where Earl became the headliner of the band. Lead performer, Charles Vann found out he had leukemia. After a battle with this terrible disease, he passed away. Under Earl Turner's direction, Vann Company Band was incredibly successful, which is a true honor to the memory of Charles Vann.

After his success with Vann Company Band, Earl headed to Las Vegas. It was here he wanted to create a name for himself and he has done just that. During his first year in Las Vegas, Earl won the title of male vocal performer of the year in Las Vegas. Since then, it has become apparent why Earl is so deserving of this title

Currently, Earl is performing at Sound Trax, which is inside Palace Station at Caesar's Palace. Before heading to the Palace, Earl played at Harrah's casino in New Orleans. He had to evacuate during Hurricane Katrina, and he took the opportunity to head back to Las Vegas. Prior to his stint at Harrah's, Earl had spent over 15 years performing in Las Vegas at various lounges, opening at Dunes, and as a headliner at Luxor, Excalibur, the Rio Bamba Lounge, and Laughlin.

The Sound Trax lounge offers up to 250 seats to see Earl Turner perform. This is one show, which you will not want to miss. The melodic and talented Earl Turner brings the lounge to life with his exceptional singing and phenomenal voice.
