What trip to Las Vegas doesn't at some point include a dip in the pool? The desert sun draws visitors to the poolside in crowds. And speaking of poolsides, the word pool describes so many things in Las Vegas that it can defy imagination. Whether you are looking for a pool with a beach environment or a hip, trendy environment, you be able to find something to fulfill your requirements at the Las Vegas Strip hotel pools.
Hotel pools are open only for guests at the resort, so research your hotel's pool before you reserve your room. If you want a lagoon you can check out places like the Tropicana, the Flamingo, or the Mirage. The Mirage's comes complete with waterfalls and a 'Bare Pool' where you can go topless. At the Tropicana you can swim up to a floating blackjack table and the Coconut Grove bar for a really unique pool experience. Clearly, just as with everything else, Las Vegas pools on the Strip are lavish affairs.
Of course, there are many pools out there that are no fuss for those who simply want to enjoy the Vegas sunshine and an occasional swim. Binion's and other Fremont Street casino often have simpler pools due to space constraints. Smaller, local casinos are also good places to find such pools. They're nice, free-style pools that will allow you to splash about all you want. You'll just have to get out of the pool to get to a blackjack table or the bar, this is not true if you are staying ar Hard Rock or Encore !, there are BJ tables right at the pool.
One final thing to keep in mind before you make your Las Vegas vacation plans is the time of year you will be visiting. If you are planning a trip in winter or early spring, be sure to check that the pool is open year round. After that you'll be ready to hit whichever Las Vegas pool is appropriate for you, and you'll be ready to hit it in style.
