Cosmopolitan
When The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a.k.a., The Cosmo, opened in December 2010, it became the trendiest, coolest, hippest, classiest hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. That might be a bit overkill, but it definitely became a fan favorite. Their quirky 2012 ad campaign, "Just the Right Amount of Wrong," only increased their popularity. The Cosmopolitan is all about doing things differently. It explores the possibilities, tries new things – keeps the ones that work, rethinks the ones that don't.
This ultra-luxurious, award-winning hotel fuses contemporary décor and modern furnishings with pops of color, varied textures, and a design theme that is edgy and urban chic. It consists of two high-rise towers, the Boulevard Tower and the Chelsea Tower, and features 3,027 rooms – many of which feature their own private terrace – and a 110,000 sq ft casino with views of the Strip. Amenities include concierge services, 300,000 sq ft of restaurant and retail space, a 40,000 sq ft spa and fitness facility, Marquee Dayclub and Marquee Nightclub, a 3,200-seat theater, 150,000 sq ft of meeting and convention space, valet and self-parking garage, a dog-friendly program, and three distinct pool experiences: Marquee Dayclub, Boulevard Pool, and Chelsea Pool.
The Cosmo offers guests a variety of rooms to choose from – city rooms and studios, terrace studios with views, wraparound terrace suites and terrace suites with the Bellagio Fountains view, executive suites, reception suites, two-bedroom city suites, Lanai suites, accessible rooms, bungalows, and The Chelsea suite. All rooms are unique and offer amenities not found in the typical Las Vegas Hotel room.
This fashionable hotel attracts the curious, the open-minded, and the unconventional traveler looking for something different. Their reward is an opportunity to explore "just the right amount of wrong."

Opium – from the creators of Absinthe and Atomic Saloon, this adults-only variety shows headlines in the Chelsea Tower. Opium is a 90-minute sojourn aboard OPM 73, a spaceship that shuttles passengers, a.k.a., the audience, on a wild voyage from Uranus to Vegas with the most twisted and talented performers in the galaxy (the crew) who provide in-flight services. This show is hilarious and a lot of fun, but it's not for the faint of heart; it's raunchy with plenty of profanity and sexual inferences, but it is definitely a must-see if you like to laugh and want to see a quintessential Vegas show.
