The Golden Nugget opened in the heart of Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas in August 1946, making it the oldest hotel and casino in historic Downtown Las Vegas. It has been remodeled and modernized several times since then.

Owned by Landry’s, Inc., this full-service, 4-star property, filled with world-class amenities, is also the most luxurious property in the area. It has been the site for numerous films, television programs, and video games.

Fun fact: The largest gold nugget in the world, called “Hand of Faith,” weighing 61 pounds with a value of 5 million dollars, is on display in the hotel’s lobby.
