Las Vegas nightlife changed forever when Hakkasan Nightclub opened its doors in 2013, and for the better. This 80,000-square-foot mega Club features five floors of immersive entertainment and is one of the few venues in Sin City that features both a high-end restaurant and a top-tier Vegas nightclub. It has been a staple for partygoers, and it features A-list performing talents such as Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, and much more.

hakkasan

The sound system is concert quality, no need to get technical; just know the Turbosound load speakers deliver, and we would recommend picking up some quality, music-safe earplugs. Come for the music and enjoy the sexy crowd, as you will find a jam-packed dance floor and plenty of eye-candy flanking the six large bars spread throughout this multi-level venue. I am partial to Hakkasan since it's where I started my Vegas career when they hired me as the promotions manager. Even with close to a decade of parties, HK still can "throw a party," and table service is pretty reasonable for a quality artist and venue.

Who is Brian Pfeiffer with Exploring Las Vegas?

hakkasan

Before I dive in, my name is Brian Pfeiffer, owner of the parent company, Surreal LLC, the holding company of this site. I have worked in Vegas nightlife since 2012 and was the top promoter in Chicago since 2002! I am a licensed independent host by the Nevada Gaming Commission and as a Clark County Professional Promoter. We book 100's of groups each month and have 1000's of 5-star reviews over five large authority websites. Our passion is making your Sin City trip unforgettable, and with our package deals and years of experience, you can count on us to make excellence happen.

Where is Hakkasan located?

hakkasan

The venue resides in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on the south end of The Strip and is one of the first of many eye-popping sights visitors will see when stepping foot onto Las Vegas Boulevard. From the outside, you won't be able to miss the gargantuan LED screen on the side of the hotel highlighting Hakkasan's headlining artist for that night, nestled behind the MGM's iconic golden lion.

Pro Tip #1: The club is at the furthest point of the hotel from the main lobby (the taxis and rideshare passenger drop-off) and is about a half-mile walk (not fun in heels!) through the largest casino on The Strip. For guests using rideshare, I highly suggest getting dropped off at the Hakkasan Valet off Tropicana or the Tropicana Hotel directly across the street. Take the bridge, and you will save yourselves a very long walk.

hakkasan

Pro Tip #2: Reserving bottle service allows guests access to the Hakkasan VIP Valet (located just outside the bottle service check-in area). Please note: To use this valet, you will need to provide the name on the reservation and come in private transportation (your vehicle or limo/party bus, no rideshare drop-off).

What Nights is Hakkasan Open?

Thursday Doors open at 10:30 pm.
Friday Doors open at 10:30 pm.
Saturday Doors open at 10:30 pm.

Hakkasan Las Vegas has 5 floors?

It sure does! To be more specific, the nightclub takes up the top three levels with a modern Cantonese-style Hakkasan Restaurant located on the bottom two floors.

Below is the breakdown:

hakkasan
Level One - Hakkasan Restaurant
Level Two - Hakkasan Restaurant Private Dining Hall
Level Three - Ling Ling Club & Lounge (open format DJ sets)
Level Four - Pavilion & Main Room (main headlining DJ)
Level Five - Main Room Mezzanine

The main room now includes a new feature: A network of kinetic light installations they dubbed "The Grid." It is – to put it mildly – a spectacular sight.

What's the vibe, and what events are happening?

hakkasan

You can always expect high-energy courtesy of the spectacular production and incomparable DJ sets. Check out what events are happening on the link below by entering your dates of arrival. Some of the popular residents that call HK home are Nicky Romero, Black Coffee, Illenium, DJ Mustard, Loud Luxury, Fisher, Party Favor, Tyga, and NGHRMRE, and Kaskade. Come to party and enjoy the music. For those of you wondering, Thursday is the Industry night party. Check out all of the Hakksan Events!

How much is it to get into Hakkasan?

hakkasan

General Admission tickets vary from event to event, with bigger headliners like Illenium or Tyga commanding higher price points (anywhere from $20-$50 for female tickets and $30-$100 for male tickets). Keep in mind that prices online are typically not the same as the price at the door; club management will always have the final say on what to charge if you don't buy a Hakkasan ticket before doors open.

EVENT PRICING:

Males $40 - $100+
Females $20 - $50+

NON-EVENT PRICING:

Males $30+
Females $20+

If you don't want to deal with the hassle of sorting out entry into the venue on your own, we offer a seamless process and fantastic packages, including hosted VIP entry into the club by one of our VIP Hosts. Hakkasan Guestlist vs. Presale Tickets: What's better?

hakkasan

Getting on the Guestlist is a FREE SERVICE to sign up for, but here's the catch: You have to get there early. In the case of a marquee headliner where online prices are sky-high, and guests are getting in for free on the Hakkasan guestlist, you can be sure that the lines to get in on the list will be out the door. In this case, it is always advisable to arrive early before doors open to secure your spot at the head of the line.

Here's what you can expect on the guest list:

Thursday:

Males – Free Entry before 1 am check-in
Females – Free Entry before 1 am check-in

Friday/Saturday:

Males – Free or Discounted Admission (depends on headliner – early arrival recommended)
Females – Free Entry (early arrival recommended)

*Early arrival is required for Saturday events, especially with big headliners. Guestlist details are subject to capacity – if the club hits near capacity with the lines outside still full of people, the club may decide to start charging people early.

Get on The Hakkasan Guestlist

Suppose you're planning on attending a big event and can't get there early. In that case, you might want to look into purchasing General Admission tickets in advance to avoid paying the inflated price at the door and to guarantee your entry. Pre-purchased tickets automatically guarantee access to the venue; the Guestlist does not!

Get Hakkasan Tickets

Pro Tip: Club guestlists are geared more toward female patrons. All-female groups typically have a little more leeway in terms of arrival time on big nights, while groups with males in their party might not have the same time luxury. Contact your Exploring Las Vegas host to find out what the best course of action is for your group.

Exploring Las Vegas Insider Tip: Did you know that some nightclubs offer an open bar for ladies? It's true! Check out our complete guide to Las Vegas Open Bar Deals.

What's a Hakkasan VIP Bar Card?

hakkasan

VIP Bar Cards are pre-loaded gift cards with $100 for you to use at the bar. They are only available online for $100-$125 (depending on the event). Suppose you were thinking of purchasing tickets online and are relatively confident you will spend $100 (or more) at the bar. In that case, you might want to consider purchasing a Bar Card instead. It gives you a free or heavily discounted ticket in exchange for buying $100 worth of beverages in advance. It also grants the Cardholder front-of-line privileges (before midnight) for regular admission.

Get a Hakkasan VIP Bar Card

Pro Tip: Already bought a Bar Card and want to reserve bottle service? You can use this card toward your beverage minimum as it operates like currency within the Club.

What Does Hakkasan Bottle Service Cost?

Main Room Lower Dance Floor/Stage Area - $$$$
Main Room Upper Dance Floor - $$$
Main Room Mezzanine - $$
Pavilion Area - $
Ling Ling Club/Lounge - $

Each area has several tables that have varying minimum spends. On a non-peak night, a table in the Pavilion or Ling Ling Club might start at $600-$1000 minimum spend but could just as quickly go for $1500 on a busier night.

Pro Tip: Not all locations are created equal. Be sure to view the guide below to see which table is right for you and your party, or contact one of our VIP Hosts for additional recommendations.

Table Service Locations

Pro Tip: While there really are no terrible tables in the venue, below is a list of insights into the different table areas and what to expect.

MAIN ROOM (LEVEL FOUR)

This section pertains to the Main Room's dance floor level, the main area of the club.

STAGE (maximum 20 people, depending on group make up)

hakkasan

On either side of the DJ booth are 4 large tables on the stage (2 on either side). These areas are very large and roomy and – as they are right next to the DJ booth that has everyone's eye – mean you're the center of attention for everyone on the dance floor and out.

The downside? You get a side view of the DJ booth instead of a full-frontal view, which somewhat changes the viewing experience.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $6,000+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $3,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

LOWER DANCE FLOOR TABLE (maximum 15 people, depending on group make up)

hakkasan

Located on the dance floor level and right in the thick of all the action, these spots provide the absolute best views of the stage and dance floor from a spectator standpoint. These tables are priced the highest for a reason.

OWNER'S TABLE – Tables 61 and 21 are also known as the Owner's Tables, located directly across the club from the DJ booth on either side of the aisle leading down into the dance floor. These tables are elevated over all other tables in this section (which gives you a feeling of lording over the rest of the club!) and are in direct line of sight with the headliner performing.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $7,000+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $4,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

UPPER DANCE FLOOR (maximum 15 people, depending on group make up)

hakkasan

Just behind the dance floor-level tables are the Upper Dance Floor Tables, slightly elevated over the lower level so you can still see the headliner performing.

These tables open up into the walkway behind the dance floor, so you do have to walk around the entire walkway to get to the dance floor, but great location for people looking for a prime spot to mingle at the bar or on the dance floor.

The only downside of these tables? If the table in front of you decides to stand on their seats and dance, your view may be obstructed.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $4,000 - $6,000+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $3,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

3rd and 4th Row (maximum 12 people, depending on group make up)

hakkasan

On the far left side of the Main Room, behind the Upper and Lower Dance Floor Tables, are a couple of rows of tables located next to the main bar. These areas are privy to a lot of foot traffic from people ordering drinks at the bar or milling around the dance floor, so you get a lot of interaction with the surrounding crowd at your table at these spots.

Pro Tip: Table 41, aka "The Penalty Box," is probably the least desirable spot in the Main Room. Located against the wall on the way to the restrooms, the view of the DJ is heavily obstructed, and you do get a lot of people blocking the table's entrance, making it hard for service staff to get to your table.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $3,500+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $1,500+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

MAIN ROOM MEZZANINE (LEVEL FIVE)

This area pertains to the second level of the Main Room, which runs along the sides and back of the club in a semi-circle that overlooks the Main Room below.

MEZZANINE TABLES (maximum 15 people)

hakkasan

My favorite tables in the club – overlooking the action of the Main Room below is the Mezzanine level of the club, which has significantly less foot traffic than the hectic dance floor area and provides a great aerial view of the shenanigans below.

These tables are quite spacious, and with fewer people milling about, you can spill out of the table into the general area without getting trampled by the crowd.

SKYBOXES (maximum 20 people) – on this level, on either end of the floor are two skyboxes on each side, private boxes that add a level of privacy for larger groups looking to get away from the rest of the venue. These tables, however, are somewhat behind the DJ booth, so you have an awkward view of the party below, but they are good for groups looking to have their own private party within the club.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $2,500+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $1,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

PAVILION (LEVEL FOUR)

Located by the back bar and elevators, meant to simulate a "garden" of sorts.

PAVILION TABLES (maximum 10 people)

hakkasan

When you first enter Level Four (where the elevators will drop you off when entering the club), you pass through the Pavilion area – not to be confused with being part of the Main Room, the Pavilion is more of a patio to the Main Room, with less foot traffic here and a completely obstructed view of the main DJ decks.

These tables are considered the entry-level locations of the club, and while you can hear the main performer in this area, you probably won't be able to see what's going on.

However, this area is a little more relaxed than the chaos of the Main Room, and since there is a restroom and a bar in this area, some people prefer to hang out here than brave the hundreds of people milling about the dance floor.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $1,500 - $2,500+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $1,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

LING LING CLUB & LOUNGE (LEVEL THREE)

hakkasan

Go down one flight of stairs from the Main Level, and you enter the Ling Ling Club, a different experience from the rest of the club above and typically has hip hop music programming with its own DJ spinning. May not be open for certain events if the demand is not there.

DANCE FLOOR (maximum 10 people)

Just like the main floor above, the Ling Ling Club has tables right on the dance floor that are the best locations available in this area.

As noted above, the Pavilion is considered the entry-level tables for Hakkasan, so the Ling Ling Club tables are by request only (if this part of the venue is open).

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $1,500+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $1,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

2ND TIER (maximum 15 people)

One row back, these tables are actually larger than the tables right on the dance floor.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $1,000+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $1,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

LING LING LOUNGE (maximum 6-10 people)

hakkasan

This area of the venue is typically reserved as a lounge area for guests coming in from the restaurant's back entrance, though the tables may be available for booking on extremely high-demand nights.

Projected Pricing*:

EVENT PRICING / HOLIDAY PRICING - $1,000+

NON-EVENT PRICING (Most non-Saturdays) - $1,000+

*Pricing fluctuates depending on demand and may not accurately reflect the price for your date of arrival.

What exactly is table/bottle service?

hakkasan

By definition, bottle service means that the customer purchases their alcohol by the bottle and not individual drinks at the bar. In Vegas, this equates to paying a premium price for bottles but includes a table inside the club, a personal server for your section, and VIP entry into the venue. Basic mixers are also complimentary with any table reservation – assorted juices and soda and garnishes like lemons and limes. Essentially you agree to spend a certain amount of dollars to rent the space for the night.

What is a "minimum"? Do I have to pay for a table separately from bottles?

hakkasan

Clubs often operate on a minimum spend requirement (or "min," for short) system for their table reservations. The customer must either reach or exceed the amount set for their minimum spend. While the table is not charged separately, the better the location, the higher the minimum spend requirement. To reach this minimum requirement, the customer can order anything from the beverage menu (bottled alcohol, cases of beer, bottled water, Red Bulls, etc., all count toward your minimum requirement).

Group size could also be a factor in raising your minimum spend. The larger your group, the more accommodations the venue has to make to provide the same VIP experience to its customers. For example, a party of 15-20 people will require a larger space than the typical customer and require more staff service; thus, their minimum would be much higher than a customer coming in with five people.

Is bottle service worth it?

hakkasan

Absolutely and without a doubt! It is the ultimate clubbing experience. While venturing onto the dance floor and exploring the venue are memorable experiences on their own, nothing is quite like being able to return to your own area, away from the crowd, and enjoy the artists' stunning performances. If your budget allows for it, I highly suggest booking Bottle Service. If you are a group of guys trying to pull girls or vice versa, tables are the 🔑 to help that process.

How many bottles do you get with bottle service?

hakkasan

Truthfully, as many as you can fit into your minimum. Bottle prices start at $650 and vary in price depending on whether you want a specific type of alcohol or a larger bottle. For example, suppose you have a $2,000 minimum and don't want to go over the minimum. In that case, you could theoretically get about three bottles (assuming you order the $650 ones) and fill the remaining minimum with small orders of beer/bottled water/Red Bulls/etc. Let your host know in advance, and we will coordinate with your server depending on your preference!

What is the tip for bottle service?

What you actually want to know is, "How much does bottle service really cost after fees?" Assuming you have a $2500 minimum booked (and don't go over that total), here's how the final bill would break down:

$2500 (Min Spend)
$209.38 (Nevada sales tax is 8.375%)
$265.75 (10.63% venue tax)
$500 (20% tip to the server)
$0 (Podium Handshake for Specific Table)
Total:$3475.13

How do I make a reservation, and can I choose my section?

hakkasan

We make reservations simple - fill out a form, and one of our VIP Hosts will be in touch shortly to go over your options. The club's management determines where to seat each confirmed table reservation. We call this " plotting the room ". Once again, the higher your minimum, the better the location. We can request and promise specific table locations based on customer requests and podium tips. We call podium tips “Handshakes” in Sin City. Here's a couple of things that can help us deliver on our promises:

  • Arrive on time! We can secure your preferred table, but we cannot ask the venue to hold it the entire night, waiting for you to show up.
  • Agree to the recommended minimum for your preferred location. If you want a dance floor table, we can make that happen, provided you agree to the required minimum spend it takes to book it.

How do I get my guests in if they arrive late?

hakkasan

Ideally, you want to have the whole group together when you walk to your table. However, we understand that sometimes life (or at least Vegas party life) gets in the way. Suppose your table has already entered and is sitting; in that case, the person joining you can go up to the host standing at the table reservation line and give your table number plus the name the table is booked under (you can find out your table number by asking your server or security staff if you are unsure).

How do I order a bottle presentation?

hakkasan

You must have a significant reservation booked (usually around $2000 or more) and purchase a bottle of champagne to qualify for the presentation. Let your VIP Host know, and one of us will be happy to communicate this request to your server. On some occasions for a birthday or special event, a bottle service waitress might bring a display out for much less, just ask your server.

I've heard of a Girl Guy Host. What is that?

hakkasan

Let's say you are a group of guys who want to buy bottle service. A girl guy's (at Hakkasan, they are called VIP Liaisons) job is to approach your table and ask if you would like him to round up some girls to help fill out your table…for a tip (we call that "handshakes" in the industry). He then does the legwork of recruiting girls around the venue to introduce them to your table. The girls are happy they get to join a table, your group is happy that there are girls at your table, and the girl guy walks away happy with a handshake. Everybody wins!

But before you employ any venue's girl guy, be sure to ask your Exploring Las Vegas VIP Host (like me) first. We will have plenty of female guests in town on any given weekend and will most likely know a few at this particular venue that we can invite to your table. If your group and the girls don't mesh for whatever reason, we can always ask the girl guy to try their hand at it.

Find out more about girl guys. We also offer atmosphere models for a group of guys who just want some pretty Vegas party girls to hang out with at the table and keep them entertained. A good rule of thumb is a $100 an hour per girl for a 4-hour minimum.

How much are drinks at Hakkasan Las Vegas?

hakkasan

Beers are around $8-10 and mixed drinks $12+ depending on your preference. If your group is likely to spend over $100 each on drinks at the bar, you should consider purchasing bottle service.

Bachelor Parties in Vegas

hakkasan

Bottle service is the way to go for Bachelor Parties planning a trip to the Vegas party scene; you're going to want a space to invite girls back to hang out! OTHER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the Hakkasan Dress Code?

hakkasan

The dress code is typical of most Vegas nightclubs – upscale, dress-to-impress. You don't necessarily have to wear a collared shirt or suit and tie but make sure you are not wearing anything too casual. Men cannot wear shorts, and athletic sneakers are typically denied at the door (Jordan's s/Nikes, Timberland boots, etc.). For more info about dress codes in Vegas, be sure to check out our comprehensive Dress Code Guide.

Wet Republic and Other Tao Group Venues

hakkasan

Complete the MGM experience by booking with Hakkasan's sister daylife venue, Wet Republic Ultra Pool. The newly-renovated pool party has been a staple to Las Vegas partygoers' schedules for years as one of the City's best dayclubs. The Tao Group has taken over half the Sin City clubs and now has Marquee Nightclub, Tao Nightclub, Jewel Nightclub, Omnia Nightclub. For pools, they have Tao Beach, Liquid Pool Lounge, and Marquee Day Club as well.

Tao Group Security

hakkasan

Before entry, all guests are required to turn out their pockets (for ladies, they will look in your purse), submit to a metal detector test, and make sure everyone entering is not bringing in anything dangerous. It's equivalent to going through the TSA line at the airport. This applies to all guests, whether you are going in with a table or General Admission.

Pro Tip: If you purchased a table and some unwanted people wander in by accident, it is always best to have the security staff ask them to leave instead of doing it yourself to avoid potential altercations. In the event of a confrontation between guests, both parties may likely be asked to leave. Security has the final say on such matters.

Las Vegas Security Guide

What can't I bring into the venue?

Here are some things that you will be either asked to throw away or go back to your room to deposit before coming back:

  • Vapes – while weed dispensaries are extremely popular and vaping is in vogue, most venues will not allow vapes inside their premises and will ask you to leave it in your room or at the very least throw away the cartridge inside, even if it isn't a CBD cartridge.
  • Camera equipment – the only recording equipment you are allowed to bring is the one on your phone. Digital cameras, selfie sticks, et al. are not allowed into the venue.
  • Outside Food/Beverages
  • Prescription medication (or anything resembling pills) – if you need a specific type of prescription medication while you are inside the venue, you will have to bring the prescription and explain what the medicine is for; otherwise, expect to get pulled to the side.
  • Packs of gum – this only applies to day clubs, which tend to be a lot stricter about checking everything that goes into the venue, but guests have been known to try and sneak drugs inside packs of gum to get them into the venue, so expect to have your gum taken away at the door.
  • Oversized bags – anything larger than a lady’s clutch will be denied into the venue. This applies to most backpacks, gym bags, totes, etc. While most hotels can hold onto your luggage at the bell desk

Hakksan Restaurant

hakkasan

Hakkasan Restaurant is located below the nightclub and takes up the bottom two levels of Hakkasan's 5-story venue. An upscale dining establishment featuring modern Cantonese cuisine (with a twist), Hakkasan Restaurant is a fantastic place for dinner before hitting the club upstairs.

The best part about dining here before visiting the venue is that you get priority check-in with your reservation – whether you have tickets, are on the guest list, or have bottle service reserved – simply show your receipt at the front of the line (for GA guests) or ask your server or contact your host on how to check-in for your table (for bottle service guests).

Let's look ahead. What's happening on New Year's Eve 2023?

hakkasan

You can count on one of the big hitters from the Tao Group to grace the decks at HK for NYE. Maybe Black Coffee, Kaskade, Illenium? We are not 100% sure who it will be, but you can count on some over-inflated prices and a sell-out that is 💯percent.

Exploring Las Vegas Final Word

hakkasan

HK is still a major player in the Vegas club scene. When they have prominent talent, the place gets slammed; on other nights with mid or low-tier artists, they can struggle a bit and usually don't open up all the rooms. Rarely on a Thursday or Friday will the 3rd floor Ling Ling Club be open. The main room is a great setup, and if you can swing an upper dance floor or lower dance floor on a mid-level talent night, you will be sitting pretty for half the cost of, say Zouk Nightclub or XS nightclub. I am here to answer your questions and help you with your Sin City club selection. I know HK well since I helped open the joint. I look forward to hearing from you.
