If you've looked into the world of Las Vegas nightlife, you've probably come across the term "industry night" and wondered what the heck it is. Well, wonder no more: in our guide below, we will be explaining what industry nights are, what their significance is, and how that affects you when making plans.
Traditionally, industry nights are called such because they are the nights when the big clubs can set aside to take care of the locals and other industry workers who might not be able to come into their venues on peak nights (Friday and Saturday), where the clubs make most of their revenue.
Taking care of the locals has a double benefit for these venues:
A) It draws in a crowd who might not want to party with the out-of-towners on the weekend but still want to party at some of the best nightclubs in the world. These locals then help get the word out on these venues, recommending their friends, and basically provide free marketing for the club. Other clubs not open, that night's employees often go out to support these open venues' industry nights, giving club workers the chance to experience their normal competitor's parties.
B) It also helps fill these massive venues on nights when the city is a lot slower (since most out-of-town traffic comes on the weekend). Bringing in a crowd that usually wouldn't come in, allows the club to look busy and throw a good party for customers who are buying tables and want the weekend experience on a Monday or Tuesday.
HOW DO INDUSTRY NIGHTS BENEFIT YOU?
While these nights are typically geared toward bringing locals into the clubs, there are plenty of benefits for out-of-town guests.
First, as we touched on above, because these parties are busy because of the local crowd, you can still experience a pretty close semblance of what these venues are like on the weekends for a fraction of the cost – because these are held on non-peak nights, pricing is typically lower than what you would see on the weekends.
Second, because these are non-peak nights and pricing is already lowered, some clubs also offer fantastic bottle package deals for bottle service customers. Guests looking for just a guest list can also find more relaxed rules (typically, everyone gets free entry on the guest list on these nights).
INDUSTRY NIGHT SCHEDULE
When it's not Friday or Saturday, there is not enough business in town to keep every single club busy in the middle of the week – as such; there are only a couple of clubs open each night.
Possibly the best party in the city – even including weekends – XS Nightswim has been one of the most iconic events in Las Vegas since its inception. The original Vegas nighttime pool party, XS typically has their big A-list DJs performing, and everyone in the city comes out for these parties. They also are pushing XS Sundays year round even when the nightswim ends in September.
If you're planning a weekend trip to Sin City in the summer, consider extending your stay until Monday, because this is one party you won't want to miss. See who is spinning on our XS events calendar.
SunDrais featuring resident – and local favorite – DJ Franzen has been one of the best year-round nightclub industry parties in the city, so much so that it was voted Best Industry Party in 2018. As with all of Drai's' nightclub events, it is hip hop-themed and is the perfect alternative to XS Nightswim's EDM parties. Check our all the latest Drai’s Nightclub events.
Sundays are also a perfect night to check out Drai's Afterhours and complete your Drai's experience after 2 am until dawn!
Sundays at Hakkasan used to feature a lot of their heavy-hitting DJ roster, including regular sightings of Tiëstö and Steve Aoki. After 8+ years since it opened its doors, the Sunday parties have lost some of its star power but remain a strong Sunday night choice.
They have also made a choice somewhat recently to pivot their headliners to more hip hop/top 40 performers on Sundays rather than their usual EDM DJ headlining acts. Here is the complete Hakkasan event calendar.
Marquee Nightclub moved Mondays famous industry party to Sundays in 2021. The Marquee Monday party was one of the longest-running industry parties in the city, and for good reason – it used to literally be the only Monday nightclub party in Vegas. Nowadays they go head to head with XS nightswim for the Sunday evening pool event in the summer months. So, you have Zouk, Drai’s Nightclub, XS, and this party battling for the Sunday Funday crowd. Check out the Marquee Nightclub events!
JEWEL Nightclub is one of the somewhat newer additions to the nightclub scene in Las Vegas. Though it is primarily a hip hop/top 40 venue, there is the occasional EDM DJ headliner from time to time. Please make sure you check our Jewel events page to see who's performing!
If you're still in town when Tuesday night rolls around, there's only one club open on the entire Vegas Strip – but there's really no need for another venue to be open. In fact, popular Tuesday Strip haunt Hyde Nightclub at Bellagio used to be open on Tuesdays as well, but Omnia's dominance basically made every other venue shut their doors on that night.
Perhaps the most popular nightclub in Las Vegas, Omnia offers a gigantic multi-room experience, coupled with gorgeous interior design and big headliners.
Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of bottle deals available for Omnia, even on Tuesdays, but premium table locations are available at reasonable minimums – and they're absolutely worth it. Check out the full line-up of Omnia Nightclub events.
Formerly known as the legendary Surrender Nightclub, Encore Beach at Night dominates Wednesday nights with its nighttime pool party (though not quite as successful as its sister club XS's Nightswim on Sundays).Usually, the Wednesday nightswim runs May to October and then they use the “platform” in the winter months on Wednesday to cover the pool and keep the party going.
Featuring name-brand performers like Diplo, RL Grime, and more, EBC at Night is one of the most popular mid-week parties you should definitely plan to check out. Have a look at the full line-up of Encore Beach at Night Events.
On The Record is one Las Vegas' newest nightlife experiences. While the largest party still functions like a typical nightclub, it also features an outside patio playing hip hop, hidden karaoke rooms, and even a retro video game section!
Though it might not be the most mainstream party to attend, OTR is a great alternative experience for guests who want to break out of the typical Vegas nightclub mold. On top of that, we offer a lot of great packages for this venue, so if you're in town, it's worth a look! Have a look at the line-up on the On The Record Events Page.
TAO Nightclub has been a Thursday staple in Las Vegas for over a decade, and for good reason: they always throw a great party. They offer pretty good bottle packages, very reasonable table minimums, and do a great job of drawing attractive ladies in with their open bar guest list perks for ladies.
Primarily a hip hop venue, it provides an awesome alternative to Hakkasan's and Zouk’s more EDM-themed party on the other big club strip spots. Have a look at all the Tao Nightclub Events for your weekend.
Oh, hey, it's Hakkasan Thursday party and it’s LIT 🔥 and marketed as more of a precursor to the upcoming weekend than a true local's night. Thursday nights typically feature a mid-tier EDM DJ (and sometimes even some heavy hitters like Steve Aoki(link out https://steveaoki.com/) in preparation for garnering interest for the club for that particular weekend. Get the DJ line up for your weekend at the Hakkasan Events page.
Chateau Nightclub is located right at the base of the Eiffel Tower replica inside Paris Hotel & Casino. The club is set up on an outdoor terrace, so expect to be outside the entire time you're there, which does get pretty hot and sticky in the summer and a little chilly during the winter months.
This club definitely has seen better days but still draws a lot of tourists' attention due to its prime location in the middle of the Strip. Best of all, they have some of the best bottle deals among all the Vegas clubs, so if you're looking for the best bang for your buck, look no further than contacting us for your Chateau Nightclub reservation! Search your Vegas dates and all the Chateau Events Here.
Thursdays at Zouk Nightclub feature a lot of their heavy-hitting DJ roster, including regular sightings of Zedd, Tiëstö and DJ Snake, but the main focus is open format big names such as Rukus and guests
They have also made a choice somewhat recently to pivot their headliners to more EDM performers on Sundays rather than their usual Moonbeam tech house headlining acts. Here is the complete Zouk event calendar.
