So you're planning out your Las Vegas trip, and you're looking at all the alternative activities that this glorious city can offer. After all, one can only party and gamble so much (especially for our Vegas party regulars) without it getting kind of stale, right? You're looking to cleanse your party palate, if you will.
Here's something to consider for your next Vegas adventure: rent and drive a sick car like you're in an action movie. Exotic car rentals have been a popular auxiliary activity to the Strip's party scene for the last few years, and it's easy to see why: driving awesome cars is pretty awesome and a perfect addition to any bachelor or bachelorette party itinerary.
Whether you prefer to hop in a Lambo and cruise down the Strip, whip around a private racetrack in a Ferrari, or jet through the desert roads in a Slingshot, we have something for everyone! Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines in a Luxury car rental in Las Vegas.
WHAT KINDS OF CARS ARE AVAILABLE TO BOOK?
We work with a variety of different exotic car rental companies throughout the city, so you can be sure you will find whatever car you're looking for in one of their garages. Here are just a few of the many available options:
Aston Martin Vantage
Aston Martin DB11 V12
Ferrari 458 Italia
Ferrari 488 Spider
Lamborghini Huracán | Huracán Spyder | Huracán EVO
And much more!
ON THE ROAD VS. ON THE TRACK
There are a couple of different options when looking into renting exotic cars in Vegas: you can a) opt to book a car to take on the road and return it when your time is up, or b) you can book a shorter (but no less awesome) session by taking one of these supercars onto an authentic racetrack.
If you book the car for personal use out in the real world, rentals are time-based in 4 or 8-hour increments, or you can book full-day rentals – each rental company we work with has different policies on the minimum amount of time the cars can be rented, but the common theme is that you cannot rent the cars by the hour, it's always a minimum set time. You can have the car delivered to your hotel (typically for an extra fee), and it must be returned with a full tank of premium gas (some companies are very picky and will be specific as to what type of fuel they want in the tank).
For the racetrack experience, your rental will be measured with each lap you take around the track. The track is located about a half-hour (depending on traffic) from the Vegas Strip, and most rental companies include transportation from your hotel to the track itself. It's typically a 3-lap minimum to book this experience.
EXOTIC CAR RENTAL PACKAGES
Before we take one of these rockets on the road, let's pump the brakes for a hot minute. What does one need to rent one of these beauties?
LICENSE AND PROOF OF INSURANCE, PLEASE
All rental car companies require a valid driver's license before you can rent their vehicles. Valid IDs do not include pictures or photocopies of a license or an expired license. Valid and current driver's licenses from the appropriate government are also accepted for guests from another state or country – although some companies have differing policies on renting their vehicles to international guests.
All drivers must carry proof of liability insurance to drive in the state of Nevada. If your insurance doesn't cover the cost of liability for one of these vehicles, the rental company will typically request a refundable security deposit before you take it out on the road.
YOU MUST BE THIS OLD TO RIDE
All exotic car rental companies – actually, all car rental companies have an age restriction before you can drive one of their vehicles off the lot.
The baseline age for a regular rental car is 25, but you're in luck: most exotic car rental companies set their age baseline at 21+, although there are some restrictions depending on each company's policies and/or the vehicle selected. If the company allows 21-year-olds to rent their vehicles, they will most likely have higher age restrictions on their most expensive assets.
CREDIT CARDS AND SECURITY DEPOSITS
Much like checking into your hotel room or booking bottle service, you need to provide a major credit or debit card before you start spending anything. Typically, there will be a security deposit charged to the card that will be refunded if the car comes back with no damage.
If you don't have a card you can put down, some rental companies will allow you to pay a hefty security deposit in cash if you choose – but it's easier if you can put a card on file.
Why is there a security deposit even if you have insurance, you ask? There are a lot of scuffs and dings that are relatively inexpensive to fix, and it is much faster for the company to use funds from your deposit to get those fixed rather than wait for insurance companies to payout, and that allows them to get the vehicles ready for the next car enthusiast. You can then file a claim with your insurance company to get reimbursed for the funds.
